Genesis 2:7 / Psalm 1:3
Receive your life as grounded, not random.
“Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.” (Genesis 2:7 ESV) What does where we came from tell us about ourselves?
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” (Psalm 1:3 ESV) What does this psalm say about our success?
LAND MOVES
Prayer Walking — Set out on a familiar route with open attention. Walk slowly and notice what surfaces. When you return, sit with what came up. “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8 ESV)
Spiritual Move: Rule of Life — A rule of life is not a rigid schedule — it is an intentional arrangement of your days around what matters most. What rhythms, practices, and relationships are forming you right now? Name them, and decide if they are producing roots or erosion. “They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green.” (Psalm 92:13-14 ESV)
