Fifty-Six: Seasons and Boundaries

Every season announces itself — the angle of light shifts, the temperature drops, the leaves change without being told. Nature doesn’t resist its seasons. It simply moves through them, fully present to what each one requires, neither rushing toward the next nor clinging to the last.

Appointed and Near — “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.” (Acts 17:26-27 ESV) How are you living as though your moment matters?

In Your Hand — “My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!” (Psalm 31:15 ESV). Where are you holding a timeline too tightly?

Spiritual Move: Seasonal Discernment — The practice of naming your current season and finding what it requires. Sit with where you are before deciding where to go. “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end and it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” (Habakkuk 2:3 ESV)
