Wind has no visible form. You cannot hold it, predict its exact path, or manufacture it on demand. But you can feel it, adjust to it, and move with it. Sailors didn’t wait for calm water — they learned to read what was already moving and set their sails accordingly. What would it mean to stop waiting for conditions you can control?
Water and Spirit — “Jesus answered, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.’” (John 3:5-6 ESV) Where do you sense the Spirit moving in your life?
Born of God — “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13 ESV) What does it mean that your spiritual life originated in God’s will?
Spiritual Move: Spiritual Direction — The practice of spending time with a spiritually mature guide for strength and encouragement. “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.” (Proverbs 15:22 ESV)
