Sep 17: Proverbs 21-23; John 15

Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin. The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a snare of death.’ Proverbs 21:4-6

Pride just gets in the way, the focus is on the wrong thing. Read through it slowly, look at all the detail… Lord help us get rid of our pride and be real; wisdom will bring abundance.

John 15 Jesus the true vine, the wold’s hatred, Grandad’s grapes, the world will hate you but the Holy Spirit will be with you, go tell others.

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. ‘ John 15:5

Connection to God…connection to Jesus… productivity!
