The number 8 signifies rebirth, renewal, starting over, and reset. The Mobius shows an infinite loop, with a twist, so the plane (flat side) is eternal, along with the edge without end.
This helps to illustrate the significance of the 8 symbols or themes that we call 8 Moves. They can be found in the biblical narrative of creation, each created on a different day of the week. The 8th day, is also the first day, of a new week. On Sunday, Jesus became the firstborn of the New Creation. Resurrection is that new beginning.
