Have you ever found yourself rushing through the day and then wondered where the time went? We talk about saving time, making time, and managing time, and it still gets away from us.
“Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16 ESV).
Paul urges us to live intentionally. Every moment holds purpose. We are not called to simply drift through life but to engage each day with wisdom and awareness because our attitudes and actions can result in either good or evil. Take time to recognize that God is present and at work.
“Teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12 ESV).
Moses prayed that we would learn to keep track of our time. Realizing how short life is, we discover what truly matters. We need to move from temporary concerns to focus on relationships, showing love, and cultivating faith.
“Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2 ESV).
Paul reminds us of the urgency of the call. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Act immediately to make use of the time and live with purpose. Are you postponing your response to God’s call?
Practice Being Present: Today, take a break from multitasking. Set aside time to fully focus. By praying, reading Scripture, or simply sitting silently in place. Pay attention to His presence in your daily life. Take time to focus on the wisdom and purpose He provides.
