26-Dec: Zephaniah 2-Haggai 1; Revelation 6-8
Zephaniah 2: Gather together: seek the Lord: seek righteousness and humility: Against Philistia, Moab, Amnon, Cush, Assyria. A call to repentance, Judgment against Philistia, Judgment against Moab and Ammon, as He destroys their gods, then the people from nations… will worship, Judgment against Ethiopia and Assyria.
Zephaniah 3: Woe to Jerusalem: Jerusalem will be restored and the righteous will be there
Haggai 1: Call to build the Lord’s house: God stirred the spirit of Zerubbabel, Shealtiel and Joshua: they began – call to rebuild the Temple – They were building their own houses, Obedience to God’s call.
Revelation 6: The Lamb breaks the first six scrolls.
Revelation 7: God’s people will be preserved, praise from the great multitude.
Revelation 8: The Lamb breaks the seventh seal, the first four trumpets
