Starlight travels vast distances—millions of years across space—before it reaches us. In the night sky, we see ancient light, still arriving long after its source has dimmed or even vanished. Light moves relentlessly forward, undeterred by emptiness.
Have you ever felt like hope is too far away to reach you? Imagine a light so persistent, so faithful, it’s been traveling toward you since before you knew you needed it.
Light doesn’t force its way in, but it never stops coming. As we open ourselves through silence and attentiveness, we notice the quiet brilliance that’s been approaching all along.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5 ESV)
Encountering Christ’s unconquerable light: No matter how deep the darkness feels, it cannot extinguish the light of Christ. His truth continues to shine, stronger than fear, doubt, or pain. This light ensures that God’s love remains unquenched.
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'” (John 8:12 ESV)
Jesus invites us to trust Him as our guiding light—steady, true, and full of life. When we follow Him, we don’t need to stumble through confusion or fear. His presence illuminates the path, providing us hope and a sense of direction even in the darkest moments.
Spiritual Move: Study
