The universe has existed for 13.8 billion years, a vast expanse that makes our lives seem fleeting. This cosmic scale humbles us and highlights the importance of patience in our small lives. Patience isn’t passive; it’s a chance to grow, trust, and transform, especially when aligned with a higher purpose. Our individual stories are part of a greater universe, teaching us to wait with faith and resilience.
“But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance” (2 Peter 3:8-9 ESV).
