Whether it’s the start of a new year, the turning of a season, or a fresh shift in perspective, the invitation to begin again is both hopeful and holy. In Christ, that invitation is always open—He makes all things new. Rebirth is not a one-time event but a spiritual rhythm, a Move we return to again and again as we walk with Him. And it begins with one simple but courageous act: taking the first step.
Maybe your “first step” came at the baptismal, heart pounding, as you declared that your old ways would no longer define you. That moment didn’t erase every struggle, but it marked a powerful beginning. Or maybe your first step looked different—a quiet prayer, a moment of surrender, a decision to walk away from what once held you back. However it came, it mattered. That was the moment your witness began.
Rebirth is God’s work—but it comes to life through ours. Every time you show compassion, extend grace, or speak hope, you become a living testimony to the God who makes all things new. You have a story. Share it. Someone else’s renewal may begin with your witness.
“Behold, I am making all things new” (Revelation 21:5 ESV).
Spiritual Move: Witness—To communicate the life-changing power of Jesus through words and actions, inviting others to experience new life in Him. Share your testimony of how Jesus has transformed your life. Be a living witness to His love by the way you live each day.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV).
Journaling Prompt: When have you experienced a fresh start in your spiritual journey? How can you share your story of transformation with others as a witness to God’s renewing power?
