Land 2: Dwelling Securely in the Land
“Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.”
(Psalm 37:3 ESV)
Psalm 37:3 invites us to trust in God’s goodness and be faithful in the land He has given us. When we trust in God, we are not only blessed with security but also empowered to live faithfully in every situation. This trust allows us to dwell securely, knowing that He is our provider and protector. It is a call to actively live in the place He has prepared for us, continually choosing faithfulness as our anchor in every season.
“And you shall dwell in your land securely.”
(Leviticus 26:5 ESV)
Leviticus 26:5 reaffirms God’s promise of security in the land. When we walk in alignment with God’s will, He ensures our peace and security. This security is not based on external circumstances but on His faithfulness to provide and protect. We can dwell confidently in His land, knowing that He holds us in His care, even when challenges arise.
Practice:
Identify a specific area where you need to trust God more fully. Take time to pray and ask for the peace and security that come from resting in His faithfulness.
