give great thanks

Sep 5: Psalm 109-116; John 3

With my mouth I will give great thanks to the Lord; I will praise him in the midst of the throng. For he stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from those who condemn his soul to death.’ Psalms 109:30-31

What does it look like when we give “great thanks”? The Psalmist says, when it’s in community, when we are taking care of people, when we worship in the presence of Forgiveness. Let’s be instruments of salvation today.
