1. Creation – “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Genesis 1:3 ESV).
2. Guidance – “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone” (Isaiah 9:2 ESV).
3. Reflection – “That you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:15 ESV).
4. Exposure – “But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible” (Ephesians 5:13 ESV).
5. Revelation – “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life’” (John 8:12 ESV).
6. Transformation – “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son” (Colossians 1:13 ESV).
7. Resurrection (Transcendence?) – “And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb” (Revelation 21:23 ESV).
