Land 3: Restoring the Land
“You shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.”
(Isaiah 58:12 ESV)
Isaiah 58:12 speaks of God’s restorative power, calling us to partner with Him in the healing and restoration of the land. Just as God restores His people, He calls us to restore what has been broken—whether it’s relationships, communities, or even our own hearts. Restoration is part of God’s plan for His people. As we restore the land, we reflect His redemptive work in the world around us, bringing healing and hope to places that need it most.
“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…”
(Joel 2:25 ESV)
Joel 2:25 promises restoration after loss. Whether we’ve faced spiritual, emotional, or physical struggles, God can redeem what has been damaged. His restorative work is comprehensive—it touches every aspect of our lives. This promise invites us to trust in God’s ability to heal and renew, even after years of hardship or loss. He is in the business of restoration, making all things new.
Practice: Ask God to reveal areas of your life that need restoration. Pray for healing and invite Him to restore what has been broken, trusting that He will bring renewal.
