What is 8 moves?

What if we were more in tune with our design and the design of the world around us? Could it give a greater sense of meaning and purpose to our existence? Is our aimless, angry, frustrated world the result of a lost sense of where we have come from and where we are going? Join us has we discover the eight moves that will bring you back to the significance you once dreamed of,

ok, maybe that was over the top. Sit back, chill and find the a renewed confidence in the person God made you to be.

Light — I could not be more excited about the first move. The Hebrew scripture says God created that could be the end of the story right there where did we live the lives as it God created? But wait, there’s more, I know — cheesy. I know what did he create well Bible trivia for you he says, and God spoke let there be light. Or a metaphor to live by I am the light you are the light Jesus said both those things, and don’t forget this don’t cover your light.

Water — let everyone who is thirsty, come to me. Oh, that’s weird. The first two things mentioned in Genesis light and water. Jesus used, as ways to talk about himself. And you will never thirst again. In the first book, the first chapter, God made a decision the creator made a decision. He divided the water goddess word divided excites me and saddens me because division is some thing that our culture is really good at. But there is a division, dividing truth dividing reality, deciding between two options that is vital for wisdom. Realize. More on that later once you realize reality and determine your options, do you have a choice to make

Land — it’s really important to ancient peoples. For the Jews, it was the ultimate side of their identity when they possess the land that God gave to them. It all started when God made it, James Abraham go to the land that I will show you. Whether you’re standing or sitting in a chair, you are in a place. You are on the land. Take a moment to think about how important that is to you. It may be a small part of your identity, or maybe more than you realize that it is sex, or the metaphors that we will touch on in this study.

Time — I don’t have the time, I need to make a time, time is running out ha ha nearly all the ways we were late I am alive squeeze from economic perspective. And why not, from the moment, we were counting the days, watching the signs in the sky, waiting for that perfect day in the future we’ve been counting time. You know what all these numbers mean without me, saying it: 60, 24, 7, 30, 365.25 days. By the Hebrew prophet tells us. Teach us how to count our days” (90:12)

Life — we count the days because the day is a metaphor for life. And all life is temporary. All life on this earth is mortal. That makes it precious it should be considered a gift even ask Ron creatures that didn’t ask for this life, there are things to be thankful for. Even those that don’t believe in God, can usually find something to be grateful for. Technically speaking, we know that those who are grateful and find purpose for the lives generally live longer happier life. Back to Jesus, he said, I am the way, I’m the truth, and the life. Those are definite articles.

Work — and what makes that life worth living? Somehow somewhere sometime you need to find work that is meaningful. To take care of your family. It may be because you’re making a difference in the community. Perhaps you are investing in the lives of others. Somewhere somehow someway bring Meaning to your work. How the beginning of this article started with an ambiguity of truth, ideals, inspirational, and now it has become a literal and more personal? Our attitude about life and work is deeply important to our hearts.

Rest — after the work comes rest. If you don’t do it voluntarily it will be forced upon you. Any woman or man has been forced to rest in a hospital bed. Forward to the weekend, knowing that at some point, we need a break from work. Jesus said the sabbath was made for man. One day, our rest will be in the grace. Interesting story in the Bible, where people come to Jesus telling 9 that was Brenda Yancey is very sick. It’s important to have friends that will let others know how you’re doing. We all hope that our friends will come, when we are on our deathbed.

Rebirth — on the other side of the darkness of death is a light of truth. We are back to where we started. Did we have a community of friends and work that was meaningful? Was our life worth living? Or from the standpoint of the world, that wonderful life, indeed, in brutality and misunderstanding. All of Jesus followers doubted the three and a half years of teaching he had given them. The darkness of that doubt consumed them. They grieve in a grave of their own making. But and this is a big buck on the third day light shined out and came out of the tomb.
