You have watched the sky change just before sunrise; the dark doesn’t turn itself off. The light accumulates a little at a time. You see it has been arriving for a while.
Light Comes – “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3 ESV) Where are you waiting for something to become clear?
Light Breaks Through – “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5 ESV) What is one thing you’re beginning to see that you couldn’t before?
Spiritual Move: Study – We study when we slow down and really look — observing carefully, interpreting what we find, and drawing conclusions that might change how we live. Every student, scientist, and searcher does this. The same curiosity about the world can be turned inward, toward the deep questions of life. “You will seek me and find me when you seek with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 ESV)
