We have all been at the end of our rope. Life is a gift, but it’s also overwhelming. What should we do when life gets hard, confusing, or even unbearable? We have thought, “I have nowhere to turn.” We look around, grasp at things, cry out; every human has been here before.
Flourishing Abundance — “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10 ESV) Where are you experiencing less than the abundance life has to offer?
Death Conquered — “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” (John 11:25-26 ESV) Are you living as if life is over?
Spiritual Move: Confession — Find someone you trust and speak what has been sitting unspoken. Confession is not self-punishment — it is the relief of bringing what is hidden into the light of grace. What you name loses its hold. “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” (James 5:16 ESV)
