We have all seen or heard of very old groves of trees, quaking aspens, or giant redwoods. They live for thousands of years because of their own community connection. Like the trees, we are deeply interconnected beneath the surface, designed to withstand droughts, fires, and storms. We don’t know what the future holds, but an interconnected strength shows promise.
Life Everlasting — “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 ESV) How does the promise of eternal life change how you move today?
Source of Life — “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:12 ESV) Is there a source you’re drawing life from that isn’t sustaining?
Spiritual Move: Spiritual Friendship — This is the practice of staying close to someone who helps you stay close to God through companionship and accountability through life. “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17 ESV)
