Every day you walk into a building without thinking about the plans that made it possible. The walls, windows, and doors were all an idea before they became reality. Ideas first, then moves and materials make a new reality.
Father’s Work — “So Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.’” (John 5:19 ESV) Where is your work most connected to something bigger than yourself?
Work While It Is Day — “We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.” (John 9:4 ESV) How does the urgency of time affect how you approach your calling?
Spiritual Move: Intercessory Prayer — The practice of praying on behalf of others, bringing their needs and circumstances before God with faith and persistence. It is one of the ways we participate in God’s work in the world. “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.” (1 Timothy 2:1)
