Before we could crawl, walk, or talk, we learned that our hands could grab. We started to grab everything we wanted to know more about and put it in our mouths. Before the words, we have goals and objectives. The body and brain understand before we have the words. Discovery continued until we were able to pound a hammer and cut with a saw. Our hands were made for this, and so were we.

Spirit-Filled Craft — “And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze.” (Exodus 31:3-4 ESV) What have you been given that deserves more intentional use?

Given for the Common Good — “To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” (1 Corinthians 12:7 ESV) What have you been given for the good of those around you?

Spiritual Move: Service — The practice of giving your time, gifts, and effort for the benefit of others. This is how love becomes visible in the world. “The greatest among you shall be your servant.” (Matthew 23:11 ESV)
