At the center of our being is the Heart—the source of love, desire, joy, and connection. Spiritual growth isn’t just about knowledge or endurance; it’s also about relationships, creativity, and purpose. The Moves of Life and Work help us thrive in these areas, shaping a heart that reflects God’s heart.
Life: Vitality and Flourishing
God is the giver of life—not just existence, but abundant life.
“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10 ESV).
The Move of Life invites us to live with joy, passion, and spiritual vitality. It calls us to embrace beauty, to create, to play, and to love others well. Life is where our heart comes alive. It asks: What gives you joy? What brings life to those around you?
Work: Purpose and Mission
God designed us for meaningful action. Work is not a curse—it’s part of our calling.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” (Colossians 3:23 ESV).
The Move of Work aligns our daily efforts with God’s purposes. It’s about using our gifts to serve others, build communities, and express God’s love through action. Whether it’s your job, your home life, or your ministry, God uses your work to shape the world and grow your heart.
Together, Life and Work anchor the heart in connection—to God, to people, and to purpose. They form the pulse of a vibrant spiritual life.
