Success rarely happens overnight. The farmer teaches us the value of perseverance and hard work. When we work with persistence and integrity, we find that, like the farmer, hard work today is beneficial for success in the future.
Consider our daily responsibilities; in career, ministry, or home, there are opportunities to reflect God’s design in our lives. Our effort, big or small, contributes to a greater purpose, and it’s an opportunity to connect with the call of God and faith.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10 ESV)
This verse reminds us that our talents and passions are not accidental but divinely crafted. God has designed us with unique abilities and purpose. Our daily efforts, when aligned with His plan, become acts of worship, fulfilling the good works He has set out for us.
“Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called… So, brothers, in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God.” (1 Corinthians 7:20, 24 ESV)
Our calling is about our faithful response to the tasks before us. We are called to remain true to who we are because our work is a testimony of faith.
