Every culture in human history has made things — tools, shelter, art, music, food, and language. The impulse to create is not a cultural accident. It is a signature.
Fruitful Dominion — “And God blessed them. And God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’” (Genesis 1:28 ESV) What has been placed in your care, and you are still learning to tend?
Faithful Stewards — “This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:1-2 ESV) What have I been entrusted with that requires my faithful care?
Spiritual Move: Creation Care — The practice of responsibly tending the natural world as an expression of stewardship. Caring for what God made is part of bearing his image. “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.” (Psalm 24:1 ESV)
