Twenty-Five: Eternal Life

The oldest known living organism is a grove of quaking aspen in Utah, a single root system that has been alive for roughly 80,000 years. What appears to be a forest of individual trees is one connected life, persisting through conditions that have ended everything around it.

Life Everlasting — “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 ESV) How does the promise of eternal life change how you move today?

Source of Life — “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:12 ESV) Is there a source you’re drawing life from that isn’t sustaining?

Spiritual Move: Spiritual Friendship — The practice of staying close to someone who helps you stay close to God. It is not accountability alone but genuine companionship on the journey — someone who asks honest questions and receives honest answers. “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” (Proverbs 17:17 ESV)
