Farmers in many traditional cultures harvest communally. No single family could bring in a full crop on its own before it spoils. The harvest required the whole village to show up at the right time. Abundance was a community achievement.
Bearing Fruit — “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” (John 15:8 ESV) What good fruit is my life producing in the world around me?
One Body — “For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12:4-5 ESV) How are you connected to and dependent on others?
Spiritual Move: Forgiveness — The practice of releasing an offense and the person who caused it, choosing reconciliation over resentment. Not condoning it, but refusing to be bound by it. “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32 ESV)
