You have made something not because you had to but because you wanted to. The oldest human artifacts are not weapons or shelters but carvings and marks on cave walls. Perhaps there’s a reason the first things humans made were stories.
Image Bearers — “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27 ESV) What do you make or tend from a desire deep within you?
Worthy Calling — “I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.” (Ephesians 4:1-2 ESV) How are you most fully yourself in your work?
Spiritual Move: Creation Care — The practice of tending the natural world as an expression of stewardship. Caring for what God made is part of what it means to bear His image. “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.” (Genesis 2:15)
