Thirty-Nine: Walk in the Spirit

We loved flying kites as kids. We felt the moment the wind caught it — the string went taut, and the kite found its place in the air by yielding to the already moving air. Grounded in our hands, it surrendered to the wind. It makes us ask, how are we grounded and surrendered? Furthermore, what connects us like a string to the flight?

Put On the New Self — “And to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:24 ESV) What does putting on the new self look like in your daily life?

Alive to God — “So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 6:11 ESV) What does being alive to God and dead to sin mean for me?

Spiritual Move: Witness — Share your story of what God is doing in your life. Let it be a natural overflow of your transformation. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses.” (Acts 1:8 ESV)
