You have woken with birdsong, a crow caw, or a rooster outside your window. The new day greets you before first light. Anticipation seems built into the morning.
Dawn Breaking — “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.” (Isaiah 9:2 ESV) Where have you experienced the hope of light breaking into your darkness?
Armor of Light — “The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12 ESV) How does the promise of light give you hope in dark times?
