If he were a normal person, you might think he was arrogant for saying this, but this is no ordinary person. Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 ESV Jesus had a reputation for making radical, outlandish statements. His claims about himself are some of the most extreme. The decision is yours; we all must decide what to do with Jesus. If he’s right and it’s true, then there is a new reality we must face. He deserves a closer look. Here he promises that his followers will not walk in darkness, furthermore they can have confidence in his guidance, enlightening.
